This store was a cool change of pace for me. I got some goat meat and fufu in the frozen section. The goat meat was very tough and I don’t think I prepared the fufu correctly- not blaming the grocery store, I am not experienced in preparing these kinds of foods so that’s probably on me. However, I was looking forward to trying some ready made dishes and the kitchen was completely empty. My fufu also had a hole in the bag, not a big deal since it was frozen but still worth noting. Customer service was good, the lady working here seemed nice but didn’t fully know how to answer my questions. She suggested I watch a video on how to prepare the fufu.

This is where we buy most of our African food stuff, if not all. The place is neat, courteous people who sell, good parking lot, and a good site. I'm sorry I got no photos to show.

I love giving good reviews, and usually skip reviewing if I didn't like a place, but I feel the need to warn y'all. We picked up several snacks to try from here. Some we liked. Some we didn't. It isn't the not liking that was a problem for us. We love trying -- even if it doesn't turn out to be our cup of tea. The lady at the counter was a bit grumpy, but the sweet man in the store made up for her. My beef is the stock. The banana chips were fresh. Good too. The coconut treats were good, and fresh enough. The PB treats were rancid. Yuck! The dried plums were so, so old they tasted like bad fish. The betelnuts were moldy. Noticed and corrected that one right away. Grumpy response. We even tolerate a bit old or a bit stale, but my goodness, people! Rotten food is not okay. Check your stock, please.
